Do you or somebody you know struggle with the emotional difficulties from Lyme disease?  You’re not alone.  Not only is Lyme disease physically debilitating, but it impacts our emotional well-being as well.  This disease can have profound effects on a patient’s ability to maintain relationships, work, and ability to resume life after physical or health changes have occurred.  Feelings of anger or depression may also affect those experiencing Lyme disease, as some people may find it difficult to understand why they have been affected.

As a Lyme Literate psychotherapist, I want to be a part in your path to recovery.  You no longer have to feel trapped or isolated from those who do not understand the complexity of this disease.  I provide you with a safe place with support; together we will find solutions to help you get to a better level of functioning. I am passionate about the work that I do; I want you to leave my office feeling a sense of tranquility and motivation.

You may be wondering why I am passionate about helping individuals with Lyme disease. Prior to obtaining my Master’s degree in Social Work, I was struck with this debilitating disease. It impacted my life in every possible way; my education was put on hold, relationships were cut short, and I was no longer able to work or provide for myself. The emotional impact of Lyme disease forced me to isolate myself from society entirely. I felt that my life was put on hold for years.
